About the role
Aequor Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of an experienced surgeon.
- Assist surgeons during operations, including setting up instruments, draping patients, and passing instruments.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Ensure sterile technique and maintain a safe operating environment.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in a U.S. state or territory.
- At least two years of recent, relevant experience in an operating room setting.
- BLS certification required.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and operating room procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in using operating room equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 10 hours long and occur 5 days a week.
