About the role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Nurse with strong experience in ENT, Plastics, and Pediatrics to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality surgical nursing care and support surgical procedures across these specialties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures with a focus on ENT, Plastics, and Pediatric patients.
• Prepare and maintain sterile environments for surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Manage post-operative care and monitor patient recovery.
• Participate in on-call shifts, totaling 3-4 call shifts per 6-week period.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical nursing experience, with a strong background in ENT, Plastics, and Pediatrics.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• 1-year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Must be willing to float to other units as needed.

Schedule

• 13-week contract position.
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30).
• 36 hours per week.
• Must be available to work 2 out of the 3 main holidays for 26-week contracts.
