Travel OR RN - $2,163 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for an Operating Room position in Wheeling, West Virginia.

About the Role

This is a 13-week travel contract at a hospital, with a start date as soon as possible. The position requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Schedule

• Day shifts: 8- or 10-hour shifts (6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
• 1–2 second calls per monthly schedule
• 24-hour on-call duty every Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends: 8-hour shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) on either Saturday or Sunday

Pay

Pay range: $2,312.32 – $2,427.94 per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative care in a surgical center setting
• Collaborate with surgical team members during procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the preoperative process
• Maintain documentation in Sunrise EMR and prepare for EPIC launch (go-live in April)
• Adhere to hospital policies on scrub dress code and protocols

Requirements

• BLS certification
• Experience with common surgical cases, including same-day and overnight stays
• Proficiency in IV skills and surgical care knowledge
• Experience with robotics and scrubbing (required for RNs)
• Preoperative care experience
• Ability to work specified weekend and call shifts
• Unexpired driver’s license (copy required at submission)
• Disclosure of any licensing issues at time of submission
• Willingness to work within a 50-mile radius
