The unit typically has a dedicated team consisting of full-time Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs). General Information Patient Ratios: To be determined based on the schedule. Type of Equipment: Stryker, Mako, Globus. Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech. Typical Hiring Profile Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of current operating room RN experience. BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Total Joint procedures at a level 11 or 111. Experience using robotic surgical systems, such as DaVinci. Typical Procedures Performed Ortho & Spine surgeries. Joint replacements and scrubbing. Laparoscopic procedures. Best Personality Fit The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills, contributing to a positive work environment. Unit Guidelines On-call coverage is scheduled from Monday to Thursday, 5 PM to 6 AM, and is shared among the nursing staff. Typically, each nurse is on-call one night a week, potentially increasing to two nights based on PTO requests from other team members.
