About the role

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Services Registered Nurse with broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines, including general surgery, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficient clinical practice skills, commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support during surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in preparing the operating room and monitoring equipment.
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and recovery.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Broad surgical knowledge and experience across multiple surgical specialties.
• Experience with Cerner documentation system preferred.

Schedule

• 13-week contract position.
• 40 hours per week.
• Shift: 10 hours, days (6:45 AM - 5:15 PM).
