About the role

Focus Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a contract position in Grand Junction, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in an OR setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room under the supervision of an anesthesia provider.
• Assist with surgical procedures as directed by the surgeon and anesthesia provider.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Prepare and maintain sterile field during surgery.
• Collaborate with other members of the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in an OR setting.
• Valid Colorado RN license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• ACLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Exact pay package may vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to, guaranteed hours, travel distance, demand, experience, etc. The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
