About the role

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic surgical team in a Level I Trauma Center in Charleston, South Carolina. This is a 13-week travel contract position with 4x10 hour shifts, from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM. The ideal candidate will possess strong scrub experience and the ability to circulate surgical procedures, contributing to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires on-call availability, with two weekend call shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team by circulating and scrubbing during procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide post-operative care.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience preferred.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• BLS Certification required.
• Prior trauma level experience strongly preferred.
• Radiation badge will be provided by the agency.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
