About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Operating Room who will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a surgical environment. The RN will collaborate with surgical teams, ensure patient safety, and assist in various procedures across multiple specializations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting.
• Monitor patient status preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively.
• Assist with surgical procedures and manage patient equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete patient assessments and update care plans as necessary.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, and CPI/HWC.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a surgical setting required.
• PREFERRED: Experience in Level 1 trauma and robotic surgeries.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in operating room settings.
• Strong communication skills.

Skills

Desired skills include:

• Experience with robotic surgeries.
• Experience in Level 1 trauma centers.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Schedule Shifts include 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, and 3-11; Weekend hours required on an every other/as needed basis. Call requirements are one to two times per week in 8-hour increments.
