About the role
This is a 13-week travel contract position for a Registered Nurse specialized in the Operating Room (OR). The schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts, varying from 6:30 AM to 7 PM, with on-call requirements included. The role involves providing high-quality surgical care, assisting with surgical procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical process.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes during surgery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective patient care.
- Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and post-operative care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Operating Room nursing.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the applicable state.
- Must work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day, and 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
