Travel OR RN - $1,952 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room (OR) position in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. This is a 13‑week travel assignment requiring 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer pre‑surgery medicine when necessary
• Evaluate admission documents
• Identify emergency procedures
• Adhere to pre‑operation policies and procedures
• Coordinate nursing care, including collection and analysis of assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses, identify expected outcomes, and develop plan of care with patient/family and interdisciplinary team
• Provide basic bedside care
• Implement and evaluate patient care plans based on patient assessment
• Provide IV therapy
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies

Requirements

• BLS certification
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience (approximately 1.5 years)
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds routinely; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 pounds
• Good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds

Schedule

10‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week, day shift.
