The RN collaborates with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and other personnel to provide optimal patient care in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital policies. Key Responsibilities Ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for surgical procedures. Maintain communication with families regarding patient care and surgical updates. Update and manage physician preference cards. Scrub and assist surgeons during surgical operations. Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the operating room. Adhere to the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital procedures. Float between multiple locations as needed. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with 2+ years of experience in perioperative services. Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Experience with Cerner EMR. Ability to work in various service lines including General, Urology, Spine, GYN, Orthopedic, Plastics, Breast, and Robotics. AHCA Fingerprinting clearance required prior to start. Shift Information This position is for day shifts and may require holiday coverage. Floating to other units may be necessary based on operational needs.
