Travel OR RN - $1,858 per week

About the Role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Akron, Ohio, starting September 11, 2026. This position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an OR RN circulator and scrub nurse (experience preferred).
• Perform duties in a trauma-level facility with specific requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent OR experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission.
• Active AHA ACLS and BLS certifications.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only).
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty (preferred within one location).
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty from the past 12 months.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment required during orientation.
• No license hits accepted by the facility.
• Nurses and CSTs exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements; others must be nicotine-free.
• Negative drug screen required.
• BCI/FBI fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.

Additional Notes

• Extensions possible for up to 18 months; a 6-month break is required afterward (client may defer on a case-by-case basis).
• Annual hands-on competency requirement for nurses on continuous contracts for a year or returning the following year.
• 4 hours of billable modules pre-start (average 6-15 hours); annual modules billable for up to 4 hours.
