About the role
The role is for a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room in Tucson, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons.
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care of patients.
- Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record system (Cerner).
- Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
- Experience with robotics, general surgery, gynecology, and urology.
- Willingness to take up to 4-5 weekday call shifts and 2-3 weekend call shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a on a Saturday or Sunday) monthly.
- Must be within 50 miles of the facility.
- Be available to return to the hospital within 30 minutes of being called back.
Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arizona.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Cerner charting system.

- Gross Weekly: $2,274.77
- Hourly: $21.35
- Weekly Stipends: $1,245.85
- Call Back: $32.03/hr
Schedule
- Shift: 3x12 evenings (230p - 1130p)
