About the role
American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Winchester, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Manage sterile field and equipment during surgeries
- Communicate effectively with surgical team and patients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in OR setting preferred
Qualifications
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass a drug screening

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
