About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Primary work setting is the OR/surgical suite, performing diagnostic X-ray and surgical/intraoperative imaging
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with Tuesdays off
- Weekly call every Thursday from 5:30 PM to 6:30 AM
- Every 4th weekend call (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 6:30 AM)
- 40 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience
- OR/surgical imaging experience is required
- Current ARRT and ARMRIT certifications required
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
- Kansas LRT (RAD-KS) license required — license required if applicable
- Two doses of COVID-19 vaccine required or an approved declination
Qualifications
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies
Former permanent employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
A copy of your COVID vaccination card is required for consideration
