Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered RN care in travel or circulator capacity on-site.
  • Monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative changes promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to sterile technique and OR safety protocols.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality targets through effective workflow.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Document procedures, vitals, and perioperative events accurately in EMR.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and provide excellent patient and family communication.
  • Uphold regulatory standards and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Lead or participate in preoperative check-ins and post-operative debriefs.
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities and advocate for process changes.
  • Maintain inventory and equipment readiness for procedures.

Requirements

  • Current Nebraska RN license with valid BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Proven OR nursing experience as travel or circulator RN in perioperative settings.
  • Strong sterile technique and adherence to OR safety protocols.
  • Ability to document perioperative care and vitals accurately in EMR.
  • Demonstrated teamwork with multidisciplinary surgical teams.
  • Excellent patient and family communication with professional demeanor.

Pay

Salary range: $2970 per 40 hours.
