About the role
Operating Room Circulator Nurse in the OR Circulate specialty is needed in the healthcare organization. This position involves supporting surgical teams by preparing and managing the operating room environment to ensure efficient and safe procedures.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring case supplies are pulled and managed for each procedure
- Assisting with surgeries as needed
- Updating physician preference cards
- Scrubbing and supervising patient care personnel
- Maintaining a patient-to-professional ratio of 1:1
- Managing 9 beds on the unit
- Scrub color is green
Requirements
- CPR certification
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 3+ years of OR RN experience, including robotics, orthopedics, general surgery, obstetrics, and gynecology; c-section experience essential
- Prepared to work in a hospital setting with an EMR system using Cerner
- Minimum 40 hours per week, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 am - 5:30 pm) or 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (7:00 am - 3:30 pm)
- Call required: 3 first calls, 3 second calls, and 1 weekend call every 6 weeks

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
