About the role

This Travel Operations Specialist role focuses on cultural, heritage, pilgrimage, and group-tour planning, encompassing destination research, booking management, supplier coordination, sales support, and traveler service workflows. The position ensures travel operations are executed with precision, maintaining clear separation between confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions within a specialized travel-planning context.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile supplier coordination with travel operations, ensuring each checkpoint documents source, owner, status, and next action within cultural, heritage, pilgrimage, and group-tour workflows.
  • Coordinate and track documentation for the Travel Experts UK role, maintaining visibility of source, owner, status, and next steps in a travel-focused, operations-driven execution profile.
  • Review reservation systems with deadline management, ensuring checkpoints are traceable and actionable for specialized travel operations.
  • Document processes and generate reports to maintain transparency and accountability in travel planning and service delivery.
  • Maintain quality control and workflow management, ensuring errors are surfaced and resolved before causing downstream rework.

Decision Pattern & Quality Standards

Work must remain usable under the specific demands of cultural, heritage, pilgrimage, and group-tour planning. Completed tasks must be traceable, unresolved items must have clear ownership, and repeated errors must be identified and addressed proactively.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Confidently apply the Travel Experts UK Workflow Context and Travel Planning tools within specialized travel operations.
  • Maintain data accuracy without losing track of evidence or deadlines in a fast-paced travel operations environment.
  • Document process compliance and escalate issues with clear reasoning, ensuring decisions are transparent and well-documented.
  • Exercise judgment in follow-ups, particularly when operations depend on external confirmations rather than assumptions.
  • Ensure role-specific handoffs are complete by verifying travel documentation, quality control, and record management before closing tasks.

This is a full-time, associate-level role, 100% remote within the United States. Remote work is considered complete only when source verification, supplier coordination, and issue escalation are secure, traceable, and ready for the next authorized team member.
