Travel Operating Room Technician

Responsibilities

• Preparing operating rooms with sterile instruments and supplies
• Assisting surgical teams during procedures
• Maintaining a sterile environment to prevent infection
• Managing surgical instruments, supplies, and specimens
• Collaborating with healthcare staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Supporting post-operative care and equipment sterilization

Requirements

• Active credentials or experience as a Surgical Tech or ORT
• Previous experience supporting surgical teams in OR settings
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
