About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Machias, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
- Manage sterile field and equipment during surgeries
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams and patients
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in OR setting preferred
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passing scores on relevant certifications (if required)
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
