Travel Operating Room RN - $3,009 per week
About the role
Massachusetts- Hospital on the coast and just north of Boston is looking for an experienced OR RN traveler to fill a 13 week contract. Candidates must be comfortable working as the only RN on duty. BSN strongly preferred, but not required. Must have active MA license.
Responsibilities
- Work as the only RN on duty in the Operating Room
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care
- Manage patient flow and ensure smooth operation of the OR
- Adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members
Requirements
- Current active RN license in Massachusetts
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not required
- Experience in operating room setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
