Travel Operating Room RN - $2,970 per week

About the role

A hospital in Washington is looking for an experienced OR RN for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS and WA License or Compact license. Temp license takes approximately 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Performing surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Assisting surgeons during surgeries
• Maintaining sterile field and equipment
• Managing patient flow and communication between operating room staff
• Administering anesthesia and monitoring patients’ vital signs
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes

Requirements

• 2 full years of experience as an OR RN
• Active BLS, ACLS and WA License or Compact license
• Current CPR certification

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington
• Knowledge of surgical techniques and procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
