Operating Room RN – Travel Assignment
Position Overview: Specialty: Operating Room RN
Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts
Call Requirement: 1 weekday overnight call (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) every 4 weeks
1 weekend call shift (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) up to 24 hours during a 13-week contract
Experience Required: Must have recent experience across all OR service lines
Willingness to cross-train to Endoscopy (Endo)
Surgical Experience Needed: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular (excluding open-heart procedures), ENT, Ophthalmology (Eyes)
Preferred Experience: Da Vinci Robot experience (highly preferred as the facility recently implemented robotic surgery)

Experience Required

• Must have recent experience across all OR service lines
• Willingness to cross-train to Endoscopy (Endo)
• Surgical Experience Needed: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular (excluding open-heart procedures), ENT, Ophthalmology (Eyes)
• Preferred Experience: Da Vinci Robot experience (highly preferred as the facility recently implemented robotic surgery)

Unit Information

• Total Procedure Rooms: 118
• Operating Rooms: 3
• Endoscopy Suites: Approximately 65 procedures per day
• Endoscopy Cases: Approximately 25 Endoscopy cases daily
• Equipment: Baxter infusion pumps, Philips equipment, Dynamap monitors, Da Vinci Robot

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS (required due to moderate sedation cases)

Additional Information

• Performs a wide variety of surgical procedures except open-heart surgery
• Cross-training into Endoscopy is expected
