About the role
The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting in surgical operations, ensuring the operating room is properly prepared and maintained. The role requires competencies in orthopedics, Da Vinci robotics, neuro surgery, general surgery, and gynecology.
Responsibilities
- Aid in surgical procedures and ensure the operating room is sterile and organized.
- Prepare and handle surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring their availability.
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Maintain knowledge of different surgical procedures and technologies used.
- Participate in patient care pre- and post-operatively as needed.
Requirements
- Valid State License Verification.
- Completion of relevant Surgical Technology program.
- Competency in orthopedic, neuro, general, and gynecological surgery.
- Ability to maintain certifications in CPR and other relevant safety procedures.
- Must comply with all health requirements including MMR, Fit Test, Hepatitis B, TB Test, Varicella, Tdap, and Physical/Health Statement.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating room settings preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and equipment.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay & Schedule
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
