About the role

The Great Hospital in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a travel nurse RN for an OR (Operating Room) position. This role requires a strong background in orthopedics, trauma, and neurology, with experience in teaching hospitals and level 1 trauma centers. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with 36-hour weeks and 12-hour shifts, including night shifts. A teaching hospital and level 1 trauma center are involved, and the position demands a high level of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of experienced surgeons
• Assist in complex surgeries, including but not limited to reimplantations and craniotomies
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Adhere to all hospital policies and protocols

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in operating room settings
• Strong background in orthopedics, trauma, and neurology
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• No experience with hearts, transplants, or robotic surgeries

Qualifications

Pay

Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
