About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Albany, New York.

Responsibilities

  • Work 36 hours per week, 10-hour shifts (1:3 weekend rotation)
  • Staffed with 25 OR’s in block, 1 dedicated Trauma emergency room, 1 hybrid room
  • Operate under a large variety of specialized equipment
  • Participate in patient documentation using the OR Manager Scheduling system
  • Adhere to strict hospital-specific patient experience and documentation requirements
  • Work in a Level 1 trauma center and academic medical setting

Requirements

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Experience in operating room preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
  • Knowledge of relevant medical terminology and procedures

Qualifications

  • Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Current CPR certification

Pay

Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).

Schedule

Travelers work 1:3 weekends, accommodating 4 10-hour shifts in a row or 5 8-hour shifts. Floating policy applies to areas with competency.
