About the role

American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026, in Winchester, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative care
• Ensure sterile technique and patient safety
• Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in operating room setting preferred

Qualifications

• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN
• At least one year of operating room experience
• Excellent communication skills

Pay
