About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Manage sterile field and equipment during surgeries
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams and patients
- Maintain aseptic technique and infection control protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Louisiana
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
Qualifications
- Passing score on NCLEX-RN
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
