About the Role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room position in Albany, New York. This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and travel employment.

Unit Specifics

• 766 licensed beds
• 35 ORs – 25 currently in block with 1 dedicated Trauma emergency room and 1 hybrid room
• Large number of specialty-specific equipment available
• Procedures performed: most surgical specialties except burn unit, VADs, heart transplant, and lung transplant
• Documentation system: OR Manager
• Scheduling: 1:3 weekends; can accommodate 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts
• Floating policy: to areas with competency; internal float team assists in filling holes
• Patient experience: personalized pre-op greeting for each patient
