About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of an experienced surgeon
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and other members of the surgical team
• Manage patient flow and assist with equipment setup and maintenance

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in OR setting preferred
• Knowledge of surgical techniques and protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN
• Current BLS certification
