Spine & Vascular RN (Day Shift / Call Rotation)

• Primary Shift: 08:30 AM – 09:00 PM
• Call Requirement: Yes (call rotation required)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Must have hands-on experience in: Spine cases, Vascular procedures
• Must be able to function independently in a procedural/surgical nursing environment

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS

Core Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to clinical interventions
• Provide patient and family education throughout the care process
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Delegate appropriately to licensed and unlicensed staff
• Serve as mentor/preceptor and support team development
• Promote safe, evidence-based, and regulatory-compliant nursing practice
• Participate in quality improvement and unit governance activities

Clinical Expectations

• Strong surgical nursing background in spine and vascular cases
• Ability to manage perioperative and post-procedural patients
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
• Comfortable with call rotation and variable patient flow
• Effective communicator in multidisciplinary surgical teams
