About the role
Hospital is seeking a traveling OR (Operating Room) RN for a 13-week assignment in Farmington, Maine. The position requires proficiency in both OR and Med-Surg.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist in surgical operations by positioning patients, passing instruments, and maintaining sterile field
- Manage post-operative patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience in OR setting preferred
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and patient care protocols
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients

Schedule
