About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Lenexa, Kansas. The position offers 36 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and a duration of 420 hours.

Responsibilities

• Performing surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Assisting with preoperative and postoperative patient care
• Maintaining sterile field and instrument counts
• Collaborating with other members of the surgical team
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Experience in operating room setting preferred
• Knowledge of surgical techniques and protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills for electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
• Current BLS certification
