About the role

The RN Inpatient Surgery / OR provides comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role involves assisting in preoperative assessments and preparations, monitoring patients' conditions and vital signs during surgery, coordinating with surgical and anesthesia teams, providing postoperative care and education, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Aid in preoperative assessments and preparations of patients.
• Maintain vigilance over patients' conditions and vital signs during surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for efficient patient care.
• Provide postoperative care and education to patients and families.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Completion of Trinity Profile and Skills Checklist.
• Criminal background verification required.
• Ability to pass drug screening and health assessments.
• Current CPR certification and other relevant certifications.
