About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 14-week assignment in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of an experienced surgeon
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient care
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and other members of the healthcare team

Requirements

• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Louisiana
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in operating room setting preferred

Qualifications

• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficiency with medical terminology and surgical procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
