Travel Operating Room RN - $1,946 per week
About the role
The Great Hospital in Denver, Colorado is seeking a travel nurse RN for an OR - Operating Room position. This role requires a strong background in orthopedics, trauma, and neurology, with experience in reimplantations, craniotomies, and other non-cardiac surgeries. Nights are mandatory, and the assignment is for 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of experienced surgeons
- Assist in preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in OR settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
