About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Operating Room. This position requires a strong background in trauma and multi-specialty surgical cases, providing critical support to a diverse patient population at a major academic medical center.
Responsibilities
- Scrub in and circulate for various surgical specialties.
- Provide patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Assist with all phases of surgery, ensuring patient safety and effective communication.
- Implement and adhere to best practices for Infection Control and safety.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an Operating Room setting.
- Trauma experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Valid New York State RN Licensure.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current New York State RN license.
- BLS certification required.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
AM Shift: 07:00 – 17:30, 4 × 9.5 hr shifts, totaling 38 hours per week.
