Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,930 per week

Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within the operating suite, supporting a high-volume surgical environment across multiple specialties including general, gynecology, urology, plastics, robotics, neuro, orthopedic, spine, ENT, and cardiothoracic cases. The role emphasizes clinical expertise, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a high-volume surgical environment.
• Support surgical teams across multiple specialties including general, gynecology, urology, plastics, robotics, neuro, orthopedic, spine, ENT, and cardiothoracic cases.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and clinical best practices.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Scrub in and participate in surgical procedures as required.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois.
• At least 3 years of OR nursing experience.
• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that an application has been initiated.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).

Schedule

• Rotating shifts including 8-hour shifts with start times at 0645, 1045, and 1445.
• Totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.
