Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,925 per week

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anesthetic drugs, their actions, and potential side effects.
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient care focusing on psychosocial and physical aspects.
- Handle sterile items correctly and ensure proper documentation of surgical counts and specimens.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team regarding patient status.
- Maintain adherence to surgical standards, universal precautions, and departmental protocols.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification are required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room is preferred.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
The shift for this position is from 7 AM to 5 PM, with weekend shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM as needed.
