Job Description & Requirements
Surgical Nurse - Cardiovascular, Trauma, and Orthopedic Specialty Assignment
Duration: 13 weeks
40 hours per week
Shift: 10 hours, days
- Provide nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment, floating between multiple hospitals to assist with cardiovascular, trauma, and orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Responsible for scrub and circulating duties, with a focus on high-acuity patient care.
- Maintain patient safety and optimal care standards in a Level 1 Trauma environment.
- Cook with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize Epic for patient charting and documentation.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 3 years of surgical nursing experience, with specific experience in cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomy, and spinal cases.
- Level I Trauma experience and certification required.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications in trauma care preferred.
- Experience with orthopedic fractures is a plus.
- Valid state license and certifications must be provided at the time of submission.

Pay package
The Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
