Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,765 per week

About the role

Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures at a women & infants hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. The position involves providing perioperative nursing care in a dynamic surgical environment, primarily during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for OR procedures, including C‑sections, D&C, PPTL, and D&E.
• Work three 12‑hour night shifts per week (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to surgical protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team and support staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (or compact license applicable to Rhode Island).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Minimum 2 years recent OB/Perioperative experience.
• Specific surgical/perioperative experience with C‑sections, D&C, PPTL, and D&E.
• Flu and COVID‑19 vaccinations required (no exemptions).
• Preferred: CNOR certification.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Night shifts, 36 hours per week, three 12‑hour shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), including weekends and holidays. Contract dates: 11/02/2026 – 01/02/2027.
