Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,715 per week
Job Summary
The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Carlsbad, New Mexico, involves providing high-quality surgical patient care in a 99-bed healthcare facility with six operating rooms. The RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical personnel to ensure efficient and safe operative procedures, adhering to regulatory standards and facility policies. The role requires critical thinking, leadership, and a focus on patient safety throughout perioperative care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an Operating Room RN
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications
- Experience with general, orthopedic, obstetrics/gynecology, podiatry, plastics, endoscopy, trauma, and DaVinci robotics
- Adult and pediatric OR experience necessary
