Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in a healthcare facility. The role involves working within a surgical team to provide patient care during surgical procedures. The nurse will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other staff to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring supplies and case timeliness
- Communicating with families
- Updating physician preference cards
- Scrubbing and assisting during surgeries
- Supervising personnel providing patient care
Required Qualifications
2 years of experience in operative nursing, prior travel experience in Orthopedics, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, or Endoscopy; valid licenses (e.g., RN license), BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; must have travel experience; no local candidates accepted; all travel submissions must include the specified experience and prior travel background.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a PWP facility, familiarity with surgical protocols and standards, ability to demonstrate critical thinking and leadership skills.
