Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,650 per week
About the role
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a perioperative setting. This role involves providing professional nursing care to patients of all age groups—from pediatric to geriatric—before, during, and after surgical procedures. The nurse will advocate for and care for patients throughout the peri-operative period, which includes admission, intraoperative support, and discharge. The position requires experience in orthopedic, general surgery, gynecological (GYN), and endoscopy procedures and involves regularly scheduled shifts with call coverage.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Advocate for and support patients throughout the peri-operative period (admission, intraoperative, and discharge).
- Perform patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation during the surgical process.
- Ensure safe and efficient clinical care in accordance with established SOPs and hospital policies.
Schedule
- Days shift, 8 hours per shift.
- Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- 13-week assignment starting 10/05/2026.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience in perioperative nursing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Familiarity with orthopedic, general surgery, gynecological (GYN), and endoscopy procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous OR experience in similar clinical settings.
- Certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR).
- Experience with pediatric and geriatric patient care.

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
