Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,620 per week

Job Summary

Operating Room Nurse position available in a healthcare facility within the Operating Room specialty. The role involves demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to provide patient‑centered surgical care. The nurse collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, operating room technicians, and other staff to ensure the delivery of safe and efficient surgical services, adhering to regulatory standards, policies, and physician orders.

Schedule

Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week. Assignment runs from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027.

Responsibilities

• Prepare supplies for multiple surgical specialties.
• Assist physicians during surgeries.
• Maintain communication with patients and families.
• Update physician preference cards.
• Scrub and circulate in the operating room.
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care.

Required Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association).
• Alabama RN license or multistate RN license.
• Minimum of 4 years recent OR RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience as an OR Circulator with Endoscopy, Orthopedic, and General specialties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ENT and GYN procedures.
• Additional experience in endoscopy, orthopedic, general, ENT, and GYN surgical procedures.
