About the role
Pulse Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Anchorage, Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care of patients
- Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions during procedures
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and optimal care
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures related to infection control and patient safety
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Alaska
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Passion for travel nursing and willingness to relocate
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
