Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,535 per week

Job Summary

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) will provide specialized nursing care within the neurosurgical and general surgical services in a Level II Trauma Center. Responsibilities include supporting complex neurosurgical procedures, such as craniotomies and spinal surgeries, and may float to other service lines in the main operating room as needed.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in operating room nursing
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Certification in Certified Neurosurgical Registered Nurse (CNOR)
• Full competence in all neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies and complex spine

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with trauma level II designation
• Community hospital background
• Prior travel or float experience within multiple surgical services

Additional Information

• Serves a diverse patient population including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics across multiple units including neurosurgery, ortho, ENT, plastics, and robotics
• Interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Facility is a short-term acute care hospital with 629 staffed beds and is designated as a Level II Trauma and Pediatric Trauma Center
• Electronic charting performed in Epic
• Compliance with travel documentation, including submission of RTO requests and references, and adherence to facility-specific policies

Pay Package

Based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
