Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,510 per week

Job Summary

The position involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care within a surgical environment. The OR nurse utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential. The role requires participation in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensuring the implementation of corrective measures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift with hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification.

Additional Information

• Must have level 2 or higher trauma or circulating experience of 2+ years.
• Robotics experience is required along with orthopaedic trauma and neurology.
• Must have excellent computer skills.
• The shift includes 1 call per week (9 PM 7 AM) and every sixth weekend (Saturday or Sunday, 7 AM 7 PM or 7 PM 7 AM).

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
