Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,485 per week

Job Summary

The operating room (OR) professional position is located in Hopewell, Virginia. This role involves providing perioperative care within a surgical setting, supporting a variety of procedures across multiple specialties. The position requires collaboration with a surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient operative workflows.

Schedule

• Days shift
• 10 hours per shift
• Minimum of 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Certified RN with current licensure
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in an operating room setting
• Ability to circulate, scrub, and assist in surgical procedures
• Experience with Central Sterile knowledge and EMR systems (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Skills in assisting with general, orthopedic, neuro, and ENT surgeries
• Experience with specialty OR beds, positioning, and electrosurgical equipment (preferred)

Additional Information

• The unit comprises 4 operating rooms, staffed by a team of 16 personnel, including RNs, OR technicians, and surgical assistants
• The ideal candidate will follow unit policies, wear designated scrubs in cornflower blue, and adhere to safety and hygiene standards

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
