About the role
The Surgical Nurse will facilitate patient care during surgeries and assist with preoperative and postoperative procedures. The ideal candidate must be adaptable and possess the ability to collaborate with a surgical team in a high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments.
- Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams during operations.
- Maintain patient vitals and ensure patient safety.
- Provide patient education and support to patients and families.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the surgical nursing field.
- Experience in Scrub and Circulate roles is a plus.
- Level 1 Trauma experience preferred.
- Ortho/Neuro surgical experience required.
- Experience with DaVinci robotics is a plus.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Schedule 3 × 12 hour shifts, from 9 AM to 9 PM, totaling 36 hours per week. On-call duty is required.
